Meet the Instructors of the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta
Angelina Zuniga Arreola
Angelina joined the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta in March 2026 as a German instructor, bringing a unique blend of language, culture, and communication to the classroom. As a native German speaker fluent in English and Spanish, she has spent nearly two decades building expertise across three continents, driven throughout by a deep love for language and the connections it makes possible.
Her academic foundation is in Translation and Linguistics, which she studied at the University of Heidelberg with a focus on Spanish and Russian. Her degree reflects not just a career choice, but a lifelong fascination with the way language shapes how we understand the world and each other. It was during this time that she gained her first hands-on experience in international environments, including a formative period at the German Consulate General in Mexico, an experience that deepened both her language skills and her appreciation for the role diplomacy and communication play across cultures.
After graduating, she moved into the corporate world, building expertise in executive search and talent acquisition at Korn Ferry in Frankfurt. She then made her way to Mexico before eventually settling in Atlanta. There she spent years leading complex projects for 2d Consulting Services as a Freelance Project & Communications Manager. Alongside her consulting practice, she has developed a creative second career as a freelance photographer, specializing in brand, portrait, and editorial work.
Teaching German at the Goethe-Zentrum is her newest chapter and a natural homecoming for someone who has spent a lifetime living, working, and thinking across languages.
