Get going. With Fit in Deutsch 2 – the examination for young people.

The Goethe-Zertifikat A2: Fit in Deutsch 2 is for German language learners age 12 and up.. 

Passing the Goethe-Zertifikat A2: Fit in Deutsch 2 examination proves that you can make yourself understood in simple German. The examination corresponds to level two (A2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

After passing the examination, you will be able to do the following, for example:

  • extract relevant information from newspaper articles, emails, advertisements and public announcement boards,
  • understand the main content of everyday conversations, announcements and interviews on the radio, messages on the telephone and public announcements,
  • write messages related to your everyday environment,
  • pose and answer questions in conversations about yourself, converse about your own life and make agreements or negotiate with your conversation partner.

A2 Fit in Deutsch Exam:

  • Hören: 30 minutes
  • Lesen: 30 minutes
  • Schreiben: 30 minutes
  • Sprechen: 15 minutes

Total Time (excluding break): 1 hour 45 minutes

FRANCO-GERMAN CULTURAL CENTER

Founded in 1976 as a branch of the Goethe Institut, our organization has served the German-speaking community in Atlanta and the Southeast for more than 45 years. 

As of September 2022, we are officially a KULTUR ENSEMBLE!

1 of 9 globally, and the only in North America, together with the Alliance Francaise d'Atlanta, we are the center for German and French language, culture, heritage and experiences in the heart of Downtown Atlanta.
