Barbara Stauch
Barbara Stauch has been a professional teacher for German as a Foreign Language for the last 30+ years.
Barbara believes that teaching and learning German is rewarding because one gets to know very interesting people from all walks of life and from around the world including all the cultural benefits and sometimes challenges it brings with it.
Through learning with Barbara you’ll get to know the way Germans think and how they (re)act. With Barbara you are at the pulse of Germany as she often travels to Germany and can present current cultural or otherwise significant events in Germany.
She has embraced online teaching as she can easily integrate internet clips and present some current events. Her teaching is eclectic and keeps you on your toes the whole time. It is demanding but you’ll make progress.
Her students say that her classes are a safe place: free to express themselves, without worry about making mistakes, or not knowing the proper answer. Everyone learns from mistakes whether they are our own or the mistakes of others.
