Angelika Otte
Angelika Otte joined the Goethe‑Zentrum in 2021 as Language Program Director and successfully served as Interim Executive Director from August 2025 through February 2026. In her new role as Co‑Executive Director for Language and Operations, Angelika will continue to build on her dedicated tenure with the organization.
A resident of Metro Atlanta for over 20 years, Angelika brings a lifelong passion for languages, cultural exchange, and community engagement to her roles at the Goethe-Zentrum.
Originally from Munich, Germany, Angelika studied Eastern European Studies and German Language at Ludwig-Maximilians-University, earning her Magister Artium. She began her career in international customer relations with U.S.-headquartered companies in Germany before relocating to Los Angeles, and later to Georgia, where she built her own translation and tutoring business.
A certified public-school teacher, she earned her Certificate in Foreign Language Education from Kennesaw State University and has spent many years teaching German to children, teens, and adults across Metro Atlanta.
Outside work, Angelika enjoys family time, outdoor adventures with her dog, and exploring Metro Atlanta’s rich cultural diversity.
