An International Music and Cultural Exchange with the “Big Band”

October 4 at Plant Riverside in Savannah
October 7 on Tybee Island

The UNI BIGBAND HALLE brings 29 performers plus sound technicians to Georgia!
The BigBand is sponsored by Martin Luther University (Halle), Savannah’s partner city of Halle, Germany

The band specializes in Big Band-style Jazz, pop-standards and original compositions from the 1940s to the present day.

Concerts are FREE and OPEN to the public.
No registrations necessary.
This concert is outside in a special performance area with a view over the Savannah River.

The event is made possible by the generous support of the Halle Foundation, Atlanta, whose mission is to promote understanding, knowledge, and friendship between the people of Germany, as seen in its European context, and those of the United States.

The Teutonic Council of Savannah, formed in 2014, is a 501 C-3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting meaningful cultural exchanges between Savannah and its Sister City Halle specifically and the German speaking countries in general.
