Goethe in Florida FILM "KISS ME KOSHER"

The Goethe-Zentrum is in South Florida this week with:

KISS ME KOSHER -
a subversive love story between clashing cultures and families. When two generations of Israeli women fall for a German woman and a Palestinian man, chaos follows. What happens with lovers who don’t fit but do belong together?

+ Moran Rosenblatt (Fauda, and the upcoming Hulu series We Were The Lucky Ones) as Shira
+ Luise Wolfram (Mathilde, Das Boot) as Maria
+ John Carroll Lynch (Fargo, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Zodiac, The Founder) as Shira’s American-Israeli settler father
+ Rivka Michaeli (Shakshouka) as Shira’s hilariously caustic grandmother

KISS ME KOSHER is the debut feature from by Venezuelan-born, Israel-raised and German-based Shirel Peleg.
The film was produced by Christine Guenther and Chevy Chen of Fireglory Pictures, runs 95 minutes and is in English/Hebrew/Arabic and German.

KISS ME KOSHER was shot entirely in Israel.

KISS ME KOSHER is a delightful comedy about crazy families and even crazier love stories.

FRANCO-GERMAN CULTURAL CENTER

Founded in 1976 as a branch of the Goethe Institut, our organization has served the German-speaking community in Atlanta and the Southeast for more than 45 years. 

As of September 2022, we are officially a KULTUR ENSEMBLE!

1 of 9 globally, and the only in North America, together with the Alliance Francaise d'Atlanta, we are the center for German and French language, culture, heritage and experiences in the heart of Downtown Atlanta.
