Goethe-Zentrum Book Club

Admission: complimentary for Goethe-Zentrum members; Non-Members: $10 (suggested donation)

Join the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta for our monthly book club in which selected German-language books in English translation are discussed.

Our theme for 2017 is "Post Reunification Literature." All books discussed throughout the year have been published since 1990 and their authors have won major awards.

This meeting, we will be discussing The Murder Farm by Andrea Maria Schenkel, winner of the German Crime Prize. The discussion will be in German.

The club meets in Classroom 1 at the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta, one Sunday per month at 3pm until 4:30pm.

KULTUR ENSEMBLE

FRANCO-GERMAN CULTURAL CENTER

Founded in 1976 as a branch of the Goethe Institut, our organization has served the German-speaking community in Atlanta and the Southeast for more than 45 years. 

As of September 2022, we are officially a KULTUR ENSEMBLE!

1 of 9 globally, and the only in North America, together with the Alliance Francaise d'Atlanta, we are the center for German and French language, culture, heritage and experiences in the heart of Downtown Atlanta.
