Episode 4 – Theatre and Corona

In June, Oliver Gorf talked to theatre professors Martin Schaefer from University of Hamburg and Michael Yawney of Florida International University about the situation of theatre as an art form and as a business in the times of COVID-19. Half a year later, they revisit their expectations and recommendations for Corona theatre. Only, this time they will be joined by Matthias Schulze-Kraft, the artistic director of Lichthof Theater, a nationally renowned off theater in Hamburg, Germany (https://www.lichthof-theater.de/)

This virtual series is free to attend, but participants must register in advance to receive the Zoom meeting information.

FRANCO-GERMAN CULTURAL CENTER

Founded in 1976 as a branch of the Goethe Institut, our organization has served the German-speaking community in Atlanta and the Southeast for more than 45 years. 

As of September 2022, we are officially a KULTUR ENSEMBLE!

1 of 9 globally, and the only in North America, together with the Alliance Francaise d'Atlanta, we are the center for German and French language, culture, heritage and experiences in the heart of Downtown Atlanta.
