LOVEMOBIL Live Stream

Join us for a virtual screening of LOVEMOBIL (2019) on February 23rd at 7 pm EST, and later for two Q&A opportunities with director Elke Margarete Lehrenkrauss. The documentary shows snippets of the lives of sex workers from Eastern Europe and Africa who came to Germany in search of a better life. LOVEMOBIL, winner of the German Documentary Film Award 2020, portrays a microcosm that describes a society at the hardest end of globalized capitalism.

FRANCO-GERMAN CULTURAL CENTER

Founded in 1976 as a branch of the Goethe Institut, our organization has served the German-speaking community in Atlanta and the Southeast for more than 45 years. 

As of September 2022, we are officially a KULTUR ENSEMBLE!

1 of 9 globally, and the only in North America, together with the Alliance Francaise d'Atlanta, we are the center for German and French language, culture, heritage and experiences in the heart of Downtown Atlanta.
