Virtual Frühlingsfest

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and after much consideration for what is in the best interest for our communities, we have decided to host this year's Frühlingsfest virtually. For the first time, Frühlingsfest 2021 will be taking over two weeks: March 20 - April 4, 2021!

From March 20th to April 4th, Frühlingsfest vendors will be offering a variety of foods, artworks, and more - all inspired by German culture! Throughout Avondale Estates, Frühlingsfest businesses can be identified with a German flag inside their shop, and the participating artists from across the Southeast can be seen on our Frühlingsfest website.

When you shop at a local Avondale business, you can get a stamp in your passport and be entered into a lottery to be one of 10 winners to win a $50 gift certificate! Each vendor supported is a new ticket into the lottery. By shopping online at our participating artists' online shops, 10% of each sale will be donated back to The Goethe-Zentrum if you use the promo code FF2021.

KULTUR ENSEMBLE

FRANCO-GERMAN CULTURAL CENTER

Founded in 1976 as a branch of the Goethe Institut, our organization has served the German-speaking community in Atlanta and the Southeast for more than 45 years. 

As of September 2022, we are officially a KULTUR ENSEMBLE!

1 of 9 globally, and the only in North America, together with the Alliance Francaise d'Atlanta, we are the center for German and French language, culture, heritage and experiences in the heart of Downtown Atlanta.
