Career- Connected-High Schools meet International Student Exchanges
(3:30pm- 8pm EST)
partnership with Joachim Herz Stiftung, The Halle Foundation, GAPP, and the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta.

This hybrid workshop (in- person and online) is open to stakeholders in education, industry and policy.

Germany excels in providing varied educational paths for young learners, emphasizing practical, work-based learning to prepare them for successful careers early on. While the concept of career-connected education has been gaining traction in US high schools over the past decade, there remains a crucial element missing: the incorporation of global literacy skills into these pathways. In this workshop, we will brainstorm strategies to establish career-oriented pathways for high school students in both countries, starting with GAPP- facilitated student exchanges. Our objective is to explore diverse models, enhance capabilities, and envision trajectories that empower students to drive innovation in key industries across both countries.
