One of the smallest German states with a fascinating history oscillating between France and Germany, between nature and steel, with its down to earth people, food, and a very special dialect.

Enjoy a presentation of history, economy, culture and language and sample typical food and regional wine.

This workshop is held in English with "Saarländisch" and German bits thrown in, presented by Saarland native Iris Thomas and our Language Program Coordinator Stefan Bauer.

This interactive workshop event provides surprising knowledge in form of a presentation, food and fun facts.

If you have never visited our office location in Downtown Atlanta:

BY TRAIN: Use the MARTA station Peachtree Center and follow the signs to the north exit "John Portmann Street" and "The Hub". The exit will take you directly into the building complex. Look for TOWER 233. Our entrance is on the courtyard plaza level.

BY CAR: Park in the International Garage at 192 Peachtree Center Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. There is one entrance to the parking garage at 192 Peachtree Center Ave NE and another one on Andrew Young International Blvd right across from the Downtown Atlanta Tin Lizzy's Cantina at 26 Andrew Young International Blvd NE. Once you have parked your car, exit the garage on the 2nd floor towards Andrew Young International Blvd, cross the street towards Tin Lizzy's, locate the pathway / passageway just to the left of Tin Lizzy's to access the Peachtree Center inner courtyard and plaza. You will find our offices in Tower 233 right across from the back entrance of Tin Lizzy's on the pedestrian plaza of Peachtree Center. We fully validate parking after 4pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. Bring your parking ticket to receive a validation sticker.
For disability access, park on the 5th floor of the parking garage and use the bridge to the center, take the elevator down to the Plaza level and exit the building towards the plaza to find our office entrance on your right.
