- virtual courses via Zoom sessions with a live instructor
- Selected courses may be offered in hybrid format, allowing participation either in-person in Atlanta or via Zoom

Our progressive standard courses follow the world-wide recognized Goethe Institut certification standards starting at the Beginner A1 level, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In addition, we offer specialized courses and workshops to enhance German learning, language practice, and cultural knowledge at any level.
Standard Courses
Beginner? Look for our A1.1 standard courses in Atlanta - Peachtree Center, Roswell, and via Zoom. We offer Beginner A1.1 courses each quarter - Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall of each year.

Specialized Courses
vary each quarter and include conversation, grammar, Current Events, Current Events for Students and Young Professionals, writing, literature, and other offerings. They are suitable for particular skill levels. Sign up for our main newsletter to stay in the loop, and email us to language@goetheatlanta.org with any questions about our courses.
Workshops
vary each quarter and include language focused three- to five-week courses, introduction to language learning, linguistic skills boot camps, as well as thematic individual sessions. Filter our course catalogue by course type and sign up for our main newsletter know what is coming up.

Goethe-Institut Exams in Atlanta
Registration for 2024 exams is open - check our website regularly for levels and dates.
Members are eligible for the membership discount on language courses (within the 12-month membership period).
All of the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta group classes are for adult language learners.
The minimum age for our group courses is 16 years. For teens younger than age 16 or young people who are not ready to join a group course with learners of all ages, please check out our youth page for our individual instruction and tutoring for ages 10 and up.
